Summer Camp 2022: Nanor Balabanian

The most inspiring part of our 14th annual summer camp was seeing the full circle - The camp is now being directed by our previous students. Our students, going to college, becoming HRI scholars, and then coming back to their villages to lead camp - There is nothing more beautiful than that!”  

I was also very inspired by our volunteers from around the world and the creative classes they came up with. After months of preparing their lesson plans and gathering their supplies, the leaders did a fantastic job in exposing the kids to new and innovative ideas and ways of solving issues! We are excited to continue that work during the year through our online classes!
