Camp in Shvanidzor and Akhpradzor
Camp 2022 is a wrap!
In two weeks of camp split between Shvanidzor, Syunik, and Akhpradzor, Gegharkunik, we had 168 participants ages 3-18 learning subjects from coding and journalism to electives of bracelet-making, soccer, and Mario Kart and Nintendo! Activity favorites included play therapy and debates and discussions on human rights, as well as science experiements both indoors and out.
What made this year special was the notable leadership of our team— after months of preperation, camp was led by 21 leaders from 3 countries, with this year holding the most camp alumni volunteers; 13 leaders were previous camp participants and 6 were our 2021-2022 HRI scholars. Togther, we directed yet another successful summer camp!
