SUMMER CAMP 2014

HRI Summer Camps - 2014

Week 1: Akhpradzor

9 HRI volunteers spent 1 week in Akhpradzor to run a memorable and educational camp for the children of Akhpradzor. The camp also witnessed unprecedented events as the United States Ambassador in Armenia, John Heffern, as well as the Keghakrunik Governor, Marzbed, visited the village and promised school and road renovations. Varanda choir director, Zakar Keshishian, has been coming to this region from Lebanon every  year since independence in 1994 to gather the children of Shushi and enrich their musical and cultural knowledge.
