Heaters and Stoves
Fall 2012 - winter 2013
This project was headed by students from UCSB and Stanford fundraising to bring heaters and textbooks
to six village schools on the borders of Armenia.
During the cold winter months, many of the schools in Armenia do not have sufficient heaters in their classrooms.
As a result, some schools in remote villages shut down for two months every winter.
In addition, many of the students are not able to afford the textbooks they need for school.
The goal of the fundraiser was to raise $2,000 to purchase heaters and textbooks for village schools.
Thank you to our donors for their contributions! With their help, we raised $5,818 and provided heating systems and textbooks to six village schools in Armenia!
