Even though Movsisyan had prepared a musical program with a team of young students, his team could not make it to the village due to the troubling road conditions. The young students had to wait in the cold weather for an hour until a new van to take them back to Vardenis. 

Despite many difficulties, Movsisyan was able to find a new car that would take him and one other volunteer to the village to deliver the new shoes! 

In a phone interview, the principal thanked the supporters and donors and said that they could not be more thankful for everything HRI sponsors have been doing for their village. 




"The children were very happy and they all received very beautiful shoes," the principal said. "The teachers also received briefcases. We are very thankful for everything!"
