Personal Information:
Student Bio: Julieta plans to become a speech therapist. She feels by helping those with communication difficulties, she may pay some of the debt she feels she has to society. Julieta does not give up easily. In her application she tells a story of a volleyball match she participated in against a nearby village’s school. Time was running out, her team was behind, and she was already sore and in pain. It was her teammate’s hopeless faces which gave Julieta the determination she needed to fight on, eventually winning the game. She is confident she will do the same in all her future endeavors. Julieta wishes to return to her village as a speech therapist to assist those people with speech difficulties. Her family faces financial hardships, as Julieta also has a brother in university. |
