Student Bio:
Hovsep was born and raised in the village of Akhpradzor. Before moving to the capital to attend university, he served in the army for 2 years due to the mandatory draft policy. He is currently studying informatics and applied mathematics. Hovsep wishes to use his newfound knowledge to help bring technology and otherwise unattainable information to his home village of Akhpradzor. Hovsep’s parents have been struggling to find work but have insisted that he continue his education instead of looking for a job himself. He is a second time scholarship recipient.
