As a Henry Keledjian Service Program Scholar, Tatul, who is currently working towards a Master's degree in Information Technologies at the Yerevan State Pedagogical University, conducted a two-part college preparatory project for students from his village.
During the first part of his project, Tatul held a college and career planning seminar, where the students took a RAISEC test to identify their interests and strengths in order to determine what college and career options they should pursue. For the second phase of his project, Tatul organized a trip to Yerevan for the 7th to 12th-grade students, giving them the opportunity to visit and learn about the programs offered at the Armenian State Pedagogical University, Yerevan State University, and the American University of Armenia.
The students also visited the Armenian Educational Foundation’s office in Yerevan, where they met AEF board members and sponsors who renovated their school.
Afterward, the group toured Yerevan, visted the Hidden Road Initiative’s office at Impact Hub Yerevan, later Altar Coffee and Books, and ended the day at Monument amusement park.
