Summer Camp in
Hankavan, Armenia
Hidden Road Initiative's 2025 Summer Camp brought together 74 students from Armenia’s border villages and Artsakh for an exciting four days of educational and social-emotional enrichment. Supported by a team of 21 teachers and 9 support staff from different places around the world, this year's camp was an exciting week of learning, connecting, and having fun.
Throughout the camp, students participated in a wide range of activities, from hands-on classes and learning to team-based games. They explored subjects such as arts and crafts, embroidery, sports, dance, theater, coding, STEM, cake decorating, and self-awareness. These experiences fostered critical thinking, collaboration, and lasting friendships among participants from diverse regions and teachers from different countries.
Summer Camp 2025 embodied HRI’s mission to bridge communities and expand educational opportunities for students from remote villages, standing as a testament to the power of unity and the transformative impact of learning.
This camp was made possible through the generosity of Vardouhi Achabahian, whose donation of $16,500 enabled us to develop an enriching and memorable program for our children. We are deeply grateful for her continued support for our youth.
