I created our Makenis village's first Carpentry Workshop for the youth! This idea came from the fact that there has never been any type of vocational training in our village, and the students have never had extracurricular activities. Since my brother and I both love carpentry, we decided to open a workshop that will give a new start to the development of the school and the community, and along with that, help train skilled craftsmen.
During the two-month-long workshops, students learned with great enthusiasm, and this interest deepened especially when students started making various souvenirs. At the end of the project, the students built 2 tree-shaped bookcases and gifted them to the Makenis school and Akhpradzor Youth Center!
