Akhpradzor Youth Center
During the 2025-2026 academic year, the Akhpradzor Youth Center continues to function as a central after school resource for youth in Akhpradzor. Under the leadership of HRI alumnus Tatul Abrahamyan, the center sustains its core focus on academic support, tutoring, college guidance, and structured extracurricular programming.
The center maintains a full weekly schedule, offering homework assistance, workshops in partnership with World Vision Armenia, and enrichment activities coordinated by a dedicated team of local mentors. Its consistent operation and welcoming environment makes it a regular gathering place for students after school, with the Center continuing to be a stable and trusted community resource.
Looking ahead, our plans include developing a newly renovated youth center that would expand capacity and better serve students in the region. In addition, HRI English teacher and Lick-Wilmerding High School chapter President Lara Slater is planning a special service-project with her chapter for Spring 2026. Exciting things are underway for the Akhpradzor Youth Center!
